What the couple requested and how we made it happen:

Loft-style wedding venue and amazing food! A planner to help with every wedding detail and decision from custom attire to the flavor of the cake to weekend fun for the guests. I coordinated every meeting for this couple providing meeting notes after each one to help them remember what was discussed. Throughout our time together we had several meetings together in order to make well-informed decisions on vendor selections, design details, and budget allocation.

A modern loft wedding focusing on blue/blush hues and pops of jewel tone accent flowers. The design was a blend of personalities and I love it! We combined Darrian's calm represented by blue and blush with Gabrielle's vibrance represented by jewel tones. In the end, the design was spectacular.

Things that went wrong and how we handled the situation to fix the problem:

Halfway through the planning process unexpectedly Gabrielle and Darrian’s wedding venue closed down. With quick coordination and flawless communication, myself and their wedding pro team were able to secure a new venue, select a new wedding date and continue with the planning process as if nothing ever happened.

An amazing personalized detail:

Where to begin, Gabrielle and Darrian had so many personalized details! Their baby, flower pup Bailey, was a big hit. We had a custom suit designed for Darrian then stitched her and Gabrielle's monogram and wedding date on the inside. But my absolute favorite part was the surprise first dance song that Darrian had written for Gabrielle. Darrian came to me with the idea of wanting to do something over the top romantic. I could not think of a better way to express her love than by having the first love letter she wrote to her translated into a song that they will have forever. Winter Formal Events wrote and performed the song and just as we planned Gabrielle cried on cue from this heartfelt gesture. It was the perfect moment I'll never forget.
