Planning a wedding is a challenge by itself but a destination wedding adds another level of stress. You have to fully commit to trusting your planner for everything wedding related because you can’t be there to do things for yourself. They have to have your best interest at heart above anything else. Whether destination or from in town I want every couple to feel that they can trust me with the most important day of their lives. At our initial meeting I clearly explained the process to pulling off planning a destination wedding. Then emphasized to Krystal and Joshua that when I provide options outside of what they “think” they might want it’s to ensure that at the end of their wedding they have no regrets. I know as well as they know that all options were presented to them and as such they were able to make the best decisions for their day which makes for an enjoyable experience.

Things that went wrong and how we handled the situation to fix the problem:

Once the dancing gets started no one is more excited to get the party started than the couple! They’ve dreamed about the celebration portion of their night longer than anyone. A few minutes into dancing Krystal’s bustle unraveled. But instead of pulling her off the dance floor to fix the tear I jumped right in there pretending to dance along with everyone else so I could secretly create her a new bustle while she danced. Everyone thought that we were just enjoying the moment but really only her and I knew what was really happening. Whether you want to call me a ninja or a stalker I always have any eye on my couple to step in when needed before they even ask.

Krystal has a personality that people gravitate towards leading to lifelong friendships. It shocked everyone to know that their stunning wedding cake was made as a gift by Krystal’s childhood babysitter!
